HTC announced a new touchscreen mobile device that comes with fingertip control. The company itself released a press statement that Touch is the competitor to Apple’s iPhone. But can it really give a blow to Apple’s iPhone? Well, that’s a different case. Here is a small preview to “Touch”.
HTC Touch is a Triband GSM Touchscreen mobile device which comes with fingertip control. The innovative phone is featured with TouchFlo technology that works almost similar to the marvelous Apple’s iPhone. Touch runs on Windows Mobile OS Professional version 6 as the other HTC mobiles work on. The software package includes Office Mobile, Outlook Mobile, Windows Live and Internet Explorer. This feature rich mobile is sized 99.9 x 58 x 13.9 mm and weighs 112 grams which are about the size of LG Prada but 2mm thicker and 27 grams heavier. By the way, this cool gadget comes in two color variants, elegant soft black or alluring wasabi green. The high-quality 64K touchscreen display is 2.8″ wide the diagonal and has a resolution of 240×320. For all your documents, mp3 and videos, Touch comes with 128 MB of internal memory and also includes 1GB of miniSD in the box. The phone is also equipped with a 2-megapixel camera. To run all these stuff, HTC Touch comes with 64 MB of RAM.
HTC Touch is already available in the United Kingdom and will hit the market in Asia and the rest of Europe until the end of the month. As for South and North America, it will be launched there in the second half of 2007.
However, iPhone is much more anticipated than any other mobile device in the market. However, lets see how it performs on the ramp, Touch with Windows and iPhone with OS-X. But fortunately, iPhone comes with lots of space on it to store all your media files and data.
